Phil Goodwin Receives Accredited Builder Certification

Michael Hinshaw, President of the Homebuilder's Association of Charlotte, presents Phil Goodwin, Owner of Goodwin Classic Homes, with an Accredited Builder Certification at the February, 2009 homebuilder's association dinner meeting.

Phil earned the certification by completing coursework in a wide variety of subjects such as construction law, insurance, worksite safety, and many others. The coursework is offered through the North Carolina Builder's Institute, the educational arm of the North Carolina Homebuilder's Association.

Completion of the coursework is another demonstration of the company's commitment to continuing education and professionalism. Phil is taking additional coursework to complete his Master Builder Certification early in 2010 and also to maintain his North Carolina Professional Engineering License.
